    I think that the father is not going to let them out of the compound because maybe he wants to be together with his family and that is probably why he built the compound,"Eli's father built the compound to keep the family safe. Now, they cant get out. He wont let them out.". I think that Eli gets the guts to try to escape the compound and probably succeeds

    I predict the father is not going to let his family leave when the time is up. The father is a very suspicious person and likes to hide stuff. I also think the dad has something top secret behind the door in his office. He is probably going to show somebody. I think he will show Eli first.

    I don't think that Eli will try to escape. Eventually the father will let the family out back into the "old world."

    Andres Martinez said I think Eli will fined the code of the compound door. Eli will then try to fined out what really happens to his twin brother and grandma. I also think Eli's father is keeping secrets from his family. "If Dad had kept that information from me, chances were he was keeping other things secret as well." Eli said this in chapter 8 page 90. Eli's father will try keep his son in the compound.

    I agree with andres. I think that eli will find the code and escape the compound and bring the family with and not tell the father they left.

    I think Eli will some how kill his dad while escaping the compound and save his mom, two sisters, nd the other childern. Then he is with his twin brother Eddy again and his grandma, and also little pets. Then the live happily ever after.

    I do not agree with Colton. Because Eli always wondering an also questioning if it's all true what his dad is saying. The dad is hading hings nd Eli will get to the buttom of it.

    I think that Eli will start finding all the clues and put them together. He will also fight with the dad. He might kill or lock him in a room or closet. I also think Eli figured out away to use the wifi and message his twin brother. Most of all I dont think there was a nuclear bomb at all and that the dadwas just insane and left the twin brother and grandma out the compound for a reason.

    I think that Eli is going to try to get out again. He is way to smart to just give up, now he knows that ALL of his family is alive. He has finally found out how; in my words psychotic, his dad is. He loves his family to much to just let them stay trapped in there forever. I think that once they do get out of there for good they should leave the dad trapped in there by himself.

    I do not agree with colton. At the rate the dad is going, he doesn't care about anyone other than himself, and it sounds like it won't be changing for a while.

    I agree with Christian when he says that the dad buiit the compound so that the familiy can be closer together. The reason i agree is on page 171 when the father says, "I realized I was screwing up, leaving up, leaving you all so much for work. And I didn't want to anymore. I wanted to be with you all the time. Like you wanted me to be with you son."
    Adding on to Christian comments I think that the familiy willl make it out of the compound being leaded by Eli. I also think that when the family gets out the parents might get seperated. Even after all this is going on i think that the dad is going to die. The reason why I think that is because on page 195 when the author says, "A small bottle of the sodium nitroprusside sat beside it I picked it up. Empty." I also think that Eli's mother will have a baby in the compound.

    I think after Eli finds the clues, he will not stop looking. I think he will become restless in his searching and then will finally get the combination from an unlikely source. When he starts going to the door, the dad stops them and he turns violent. out of shear luck they get past him and open the door. As soon as the door opens he finds the family and then the story ends.

    Patience Isadore thinks Eli will figure out the code. I also think his dad will eventually find out that he was being poisioned. This will upset Rex even more. I think Eli is going to try to escape but is going to have to put up a fight with his father."I felt it connect to his face, so i did it again, finding even more streghnth." This showed Eli trying to escape from his father.

    I predict this book will be about Eli and his family in the compound trying to live through the 15 years as fast as they can but, I have a feeling the father knows whats going on outside of the compound and is not telling the rest of the family for a certin reason.

    I think that Eli is going to try to find the combination to the door and get out. His dad wants them to stay in the compound though, so I think he will try to prevent Eli and his family from leaving. This is showed on pg. 165 when Eli's dad says, "No one is leaving. You can't. Okay, so Eli thinks he had a chat with someone. That doesn't change a thing. The door isn't opening until the time is up. We've got nine years left. It's my plan and I'm not changing it." I think that Eli's dad is going to get trapped in the Compound or die from something. I also think that Eddy and Gram are somehow going to find the Compound and get the family out.

    i predict that in the compound that Eli will turn crazy, because of being locked up in a small place. During his panic attack he will find a way to get out. his father will try to stop him from doing it but will fail, once Eli is away from his dad he will open the compound door and kill the Yanakakis family.

    i disagree with luke mcfall becaus ei dont think eli will go crazy and attack,hes just doesnt have that kind of personality . if he did he wouldnt leave his family to die especialy not lucas .its obvious they have all gotten much closer .

    the charachter i liked most in the book was lucas. he was the ffirst one to really reach out to eli. i also thinkthat hes the first one to really open elis eyes .to show him that they had to get out.i also think that his innocence really inspired eli to try and do any thing to get his family out .

    I predict that in "The Compound" that they will get out eventually but i dont exactly think that the world would be blown up. I think Eli's dad is playing his whole family just so they can be a family and not have outside interuptions. I also predict that Eli will be the one with the guts to question his father, because nobody else has steped up. Now if they dont get out then i think they'll die of running out of food.

    I predict that Eli will found a way and try to find his brother Eddy. Eli knows his dad is lying and what's to know why. Eli needs to know if his brother is still alive. He thinks his dad is trying to keep everyone from the outside world. Eli is ready to found out what is going on.

    I predict that Eli will eventually get out of the compound. Although Eli's dad doesn't want Eli and his family to leave, but I still think that Eli eventually escapes.This is shown on page 222 when Eli says "someone grabbed my leg.'Need a hand?' I Didn't even have a chance to look at my father before he started yanking me downward, out of the hatch. 'No!!' My hand was stuck, and his violent wrenching was going to break my wrist. 'Stop!' I kicked out with my legsas i tried to anchor myself up." I think that Eli and his family are going to escape, and that the father is going to try to chase them down and Eli might kill him or he might get killed by a wild animal or something. I also think that Eli and his family might die trying to find their way back to civilization or Eddy might find them.

    Colton Hutchinson i disagree with you, i think Eli is the most liked charter. He likes to find out things and thats what makes the book more insterting. -Curleesha Riggins.
