My favorite character from the compound is the mother. She always seems calm about any situation, good or bad. As the other family members begin to realize the problems begining to arise, she comforts them and gives them advice on the problem. Mother is really the only parent figure because the father is rarly around. I think that mother will unite the family to find a way to escape or method to help escape.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite character is Eli. He's wise because he actually tries to figure out what's going on. He finds out about the wifi and tries to solve the mystery. Eli's part in the story is man vs. man and man vs. nature and he is also the protagonist. I the Eli is going to have the most attention at the end because he's doing the most mystery solving and work.when Eli's tempure gets control the mom's come to the rescue so she's also very important.

my favorite character is Eli because he is the main character in the story. he always is curious and determined on how to get out of the compound. since he found out that his brother Eddy and his grandma are still alive after thinking for so many years that they were dead he is doing evrything he can to get out of the compound.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Anfernee because Eli was the one who solved almost every mystery and caused the dad to tell the truth about the compound. He also had some of the most important roles and never gave up when the going got tough.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite character in the book is Eli. Throughout the book Eli shows all kinds of determination. He was determined to figure out he code, and escape. He also starts to grow relationships with his family. And in the end Eli leads his family out and kept them together and safe. This shows that Eli was very determined to find a way out!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite character would be Eli. I think Eli is a very smart and independent kid. I like how he has the courage to stand in front of his dad and say “I am your son not your experiment. One of my favorite secrets that Eli discovered was when he found out Eddy and Grams were alive. I also like how Eli has the guts to fined the code without his dad not knowing about it. With out Eli’s help, Eli’s mom and siblings would not have the courage to try to get out of the compound.

I mean if I was a kid who had a maniac as a dad I wouldnt want to follow his orders..would you? Eli brings a lot of leadership to the family also by helping with the kids now. In chapter 21 when Eli was trying to get out everyone in the compund he said "He know the way. Lucas, take them outside,up the hatch and out. Then run as far away as you can". I think this shows the reader how Eli loved his family and siblings to get them to safty as posible.

I agree with Andres Martinez, on how Christian had said about the father being the best character. I would hate my dad if He lied about a nuclear bombing and made my family live underground!

I disagree with Christine no offense because he is wasn't that smart with when it came to hiding things. The dad shouldn't be the favorite character because of what he did to his family.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite character was Eli. He was cool because he wasnt like everyone else he lived his own life kind of like me. He really could care less about life until he found out the truth. He becames strong in the end and helped his family escape. Eli defeat his father which he hated because he was the meaning for all of this. Eli was stronger than them all.

My favorite character through out this whole book is Eli. Of course he wines and wines endlessly throughout the book expecially in the beginning which made it so slow. Hes my favorite character because of his courage to stand up against his father in the conclusion and actually save his family. Throughout the book he changes alot leading up to the end when he actually takes action and gets the family out away from there nutcase of a dad! His character development is deep.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite character would be Eli, because of his work ethic. Every day he go's to the gym and works out. to be able to do that everyday when your locked up in a small place and its the same thing for six years is pretty astounishing. Another reason is because he was the one who beat the dad in his own game.
ReplyDeleteEli is my favorite character. He is my favorite character because he has his own mind, not always listening to his parents. He knows when to listen and when to think for himself. I also like him because of his hardwork. He doesn't just give up when the going gets tough.

MY most favorite character throught the whole book would have to be Eli. He is my favorite character because isn't afraid to stand up to people and for what he believes in. Like when he stood up to his father for lying about the bomb and keeping Eli and his family down there in the compound for 6 years.I also like him because he doesn't give up until the job is done. IT's like when Eli didn't give up on trying to open the door even though the father took away the code.

Eli is my favorite character becuase he was the only one looking into what his dad was saying and reaserching. He didnt stick to the status quo of how they were liveing, he wanted to know more. His significane to the book is very big. Without him there would probably be no conflict or plot. He sticks up to his father when no one would, when everyone else was afraid. That is why he is my favorite.

She tried to be conservative and solo in the beginning, but as she started caring about the supplements she became caring and more open. She shows that anyone can change.

MY Favorite character is Eli. Because He tried so hard to get his family out of the compound. To me he faught to the very end even when Eddy was runnig to him. Another reason why Eli is my favorite is because he stood up to his dad he made a change by respectfuly speaking his mind. I also like how he started to get along with everone in the end even the supplements and help bring the family back together.

I agree with Colton Hutchinson because the mom truley was calm. To me it seem like she wasnt just going to sit there and arugue with the father over nothing,but with situation she was wrong for what she did to the father cause he could have did sooner.

My favorite character is Eli. He shows how brave he is all throughput the book. he stands up to his father when he clearly could have just done what he said, no matter how wrong it might have been. Eli learns many life lessons throughout the book including leadership and family values. He is also the most rateable character in the family.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Anfernee. Eli is probably the only child in the family that is truly standing up. He isn't even the oldest and he is the most mature in the situation. He is very wise in the sense that he is the one that truly knows what is going on. He will end up being the savior for his family in the end.

Eli soon realizes that he needs to do whatever he can to protect his family from their crazed father. Eli is full of courage and intelligence.
